Technical Sales Engineer


Job Duties

Responsibilities as a Technical Sales Engineer:

Interact with new and existing vendors/clients and pitch for Information Technology (IT) professional Services Engagements.
Actively demonstrate and sell end-to-end IT consulting solutions.
Conduct technical training on Java, AWS, QA Selenium to the IT resources.
Responsible of giving presentations and trainings on networking systems, servers, gear, end user devices, Citrix, Cloud services and SDLC models
Deliver technical presentations with proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
Analyze Client requirements and assisting with a proper IT resources.
Responsible for understanding the vendors/ client business model, system architecture, technical requirements, key drivers, and decision criteria
Responsible for proposing technical solutions by focusing on vendor/client requirements
Responsible for onboarding, maintaining and developing the business.
Create technical presentations and demonstrate to IT resources.
Mentor and support the professional development of consultants and any other duties as assigned.
Attend meetings with business development managers and acting as a technical expert.
Address technical issues from IT resources and their vendors/clients and ensuring the companies’ network integrity through quality design and cost-effective solutions.
Lead technical discussions with IT resources.
Maintain long-term relationships with vendors by managing and interpreting their requirements.
Participate in strategy meetings with the sales and marketing teams.
Effectively plan revenue targets and ensure on-track achievement with focus on margin protection
Showcase the company’s capabilities, benefits, and value proposition in all interactions and work effectively to deliver these key messages to the marketplace
Participate in staff conferences to provide management with information and proposals concerning the promotion, distribution, design and pricing of IT professional services to be rendered at the client place.
Perform Gap analysis to identify and present gaps in processes to IT sales and training
Work with prospective clients to gain an understanding of their organization and their current and future IT staffing needs
Develop and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers as well as candidates and ensure a great experience for everyone involved in the IT staffing sales and recruiting process
Interact effectively, manage relationships with all levels of leadership including hiring decision-makers, executives, and internal IT resources.
Track and report metrics that measure and improve technical resources.

This position requires a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a computer science field and two years of relevant work experience.
